Our Story
Hanlons Fine Menswear was established in 1983 by Tom Hanlon in Vero Beach, Florida. It began in the front of a real estate office owned by his wife, Mary Lou Hanlon. Hanlons began by selling only quality mens shoe brands like Allen Edmonds, Johnston & Murphy, Ferragamo and Cole Haan, to name a few. After a year or so, Tom’s customers told him that if he were to sell men's clothing they would buy those items from him as well. So, with the help of his wife, they transformed the real estate office into a men’s clothing store with a small office for real estate in the back. After 14 years in the original location, Tom moved Hanlons to its current location on the corner of Beachland Blvd and Cardinal Drive. Tom still works full time in the store and 8 years ago his grandson, Tyler Simpson came to work with him full time. Hanlons is entering it’s 41st year in business in Vero Beach.
